Anyone lucky enough to own a George Peddle chair can be assured that if it is in good order it is worth four hundred dollars.  It is a collector's piece.

The chair has emerged as one of Tasmania's first antiques made from local timber and though it grows increasingly sought after in the market, the story of the maker has never been fully told.
