John Gademski (Author) is a Bachelor of Arts and a Diplomat of Teaching.  He is also a formerly security and inquiry agent.

While working in the security field, he noticed the anticipatory and actual effects violence and aggression had on security industry personnel, its clients and on workers at-risk of armed hold-up.

To further his understanding of workplace violence, he undertook a personal research program to study its dynamics.  His researches led him to develop the Armed Robbery Survival Techniques course.  The program focuses on equipping at-risk staff with skills which should help lessen the traumatic effects of an armed hold-up.

This manual is an extension of that program.  It is for anybody who feels it may help them in understanding the dynamics of at least one form of workplace violence.
